I first met Carolyn in 1996 when I arrived in Australia from the UK. I’d met a few recruiters in my search for work and, to be honest, they were of no help. |

They said the right things but did little to help me in my search. Carolyn, on the hand, took the time to sit and talk and, most importantly, listen to me. Our initial |
| |
conversation led to a temporary and eventually permanent role in a new industry for me. What Carolyn saw in me didn’t come from simply looking at a |
| |
resume - the discussion we had and her understanding of her clients needs & personalities lead Carolyn to point me in the direction she did. 13 years later |

When AIM Recruitment started operating a couple of months later, I employed many of their casual staff because I was confident that the people I was |
| |
sent had been through the same “getting to know you” process that I had.
Unfortunately, I was made redundant a couple of years later and once again I |
| |
turned to AIM Recruitment for assistance and, while waiting for a suitable position, I temped as a warehouse storeman to help out – these are not the roles |
| |
that AIM Recruitment usually deals with (or that I would normally work in) but they stepped in to help out a client who couldn’t fill such roles through their |
| |
warehouse labour hire contractor. I was there for a couple of months until the right position came up again through AIM Recruitment. |

Since then, my reputation & confidence in the mailing and fulfilment industry has meant that I could find roles without outside help but when I have needed |
| |
to recruit staff I have gone back to AIM Recruitment for assistance because I know I can trust them to supply the right candidates. |
| |

In 2009, it’s gone full circle, I’m back in the job market looking for a change in career direction and once again AIM Recruitment has been my first point |
| |
of call. We’ve given my resume the “wow” factor and talked about where I want to go and what I want to do. Once again I know someone is listening |

to what I have to say and is thinking about me. Most of the bigger recruiters I’ve talked to seem to be playing a numbers game: “If we throw 20 resumes |
| |
at the client one of them is bound to stick” seems to be the approach. AIM Recruitment, however, is not like this their philosophy is all about people and |
| |
building relationships and that’s how it should be in the recruitment business. |
